So I'm just now getting back into the swing of things. I took this last week off as a little spring break and went to Vegas!! Loved it as usual, but now I'm back and I've got a lot of editing to get done. Here's two sessions I'm working on today. I mean how cute, right?

Yesterday I photographed possibly the cutest and easiest newborn ever!! The mom of this little guy planned it perfect. The best time to do newborn shoots is within that first week when the baby is tiny, sleepy and flexible. This little fella was almost a week old and was the perfect little model. Mom gave him a little bit of milk and he was pretty much out the whole shoot. I highly recommend newborn shoots. I mean they are only this tiny once, right? I mean seriously can he BE any cuter?

I think this one is one of my favorites. So sweet!! I told you he slept the whole time.

Ribbons, Curls and Pretty Girls | Greenville NC Photographer

Over Thanksgiving weekend I had four family/kid shoots. Can you say Christmas rush? They were all so unbelievably adorable. I'm thinking Greenville has a pretty good monopoly on cute kids. I'll post the others later in the week but for now I'll leave you with these precious ones. Love the boots! I wish I could pull off the leggings and boot look.

Photographing Kids

I've spent the past few days in Chicago and can I just say the weather was much better in Chicago than NC if you can believe that. It's rained non-stop since I've gotten home. The reason I was in Chicago was to attend a photography workshop with the awesome Audrey Woulard. I've always loved her style and wanted to learn some of her tricks of the trade. She brought in some little models for us to shoot the first day and I thought I would share a few pictures of these cutie pies. They were so stinking adorable! Parents take note of these kids style. No need for the frilly dresses. Think jeans, hats, scarves and most of all bright colors!

Sneak Peak - Beach Session

I did a family beach session on Thursday. After I did the family this little one changed into her dress and cowboy boots. Just my style. Love it! More to come later. I think we've got a future supermodel on our hands.

Family Day

So today was family day at church to get kids registered for VBS. As you can see face painting was the big hit. VBS will start June 21st if any of you are interested in bringing your kids out. Black Jack has a great kids program. Click here for more information.

How gorgeous is this family? We did these on the campus of ECU and some downtown. This first is my favorite. What a cool canvas that would make.
